जस्टिस जोसेफ की नियुक्ति रुकी, चिदंबरम ने पूछा- क्या उत्तराखंड पर फैसला कारण?
नई दिल्ली। केंद्र सरकार ने कॉलेजियम की सिफारिश के आधार पर विरष्ठ अधिवक्ता इंदू मल्होत्रा को सुप्रीम कोर्ट का जज नियुक्त किए जाने को मंजूरी दे दी है. वहीं, उत्तराखंड हाईकोर्ट के चीफ जस्टिस केएम जोसेफ की पदोन्नति रोके रखने का फैसला किया है. इसके बाद पूर्व वित्त मंत्री पी चिदंबरम ने ट्वीट कर केएम जोसेफ की पदोन्नति रोके रखने के फैसले पर सवाल खड़े किए हैं.
पी चिदंबरम ने ट्वीट किया कि, ‘खुश हूं कि इंदू मल्होत्रा सुप्रीम कोर्ट के न्यायाधीश के रूप में शपथ लेंगी. निराश हूं कि जस्टिस केएम जोसेफ की नियुक्ति अभी भी रोकी गई है. केएम जोसेफ की पदोन्नति आखिर क्यों रोकी गई है? क्या इसके लिए उनका राज्य, उनका धर्म या उत्तराखंड केस में उनका फैसला लेना जिम्मेदार है?’
